Adorable and warm, this very special button down wool coat with peter pan color is taken from a 1930s swing coat pattern that we found at a local flea market.  This coat has become a favorite among our customers, ordering them year after year.  They are made wholly from vintage boiled wool blankets from the 40s, 50s and 60s,and are lined in vintage cottons that are soft against your child’s skin.  The extra long sleeves roll up to reveal the contrasting lining, and also allow for room to grow.  We have sold many of these coats, and customers report back that they have gotten two years of wear out of them because of their boxy shape and longer sleeves.  They come in a huge array of colors and can be custom ordered with a variety of linings.  They are perfectly finished off with lovingly chosen antique buttons.  The blanket coat is a one-of-a-kind treasure that can be passed down from love one to love one.  This item can be paired with the retro earflap hat and long pant overalls out of matching wool with cotton lining.
